Pressure Boosting System (PBS)
A hydropneumatics water pumping system uses a pressurized air-and-water tank to provide a constant water supply at a consistent pressure. It operates by pumping water into a tank containing compressed air, which acts as a cushion to maintain pressure and deliver water to taps and outlets.

Benefits:
- Consistent Water Pressure: Maintains a stable pressure in the system.
- Automated Operation: The system operates automatically, reducing the need for manual intervention.
- Reduced Need for Overhead Tanks: Eliminates the need for large overhead tanks, saving space and cost.
- Energy Efficiency: Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) can optimize pump performance and reduce energy consumption.
- Cost-Effective: The system can be more cost-effective than traditional water systems, especially in high-rise buildings.
Key Components and Function
- Pressure Tank: The heart of the system, containing a pressurized air space above the water.
- Pumps: Specialized pumps deliver water from a master underground tank into the pressure vessel.
- Control System: A control console monitors pressure and automatically starts/stops pumps as needed.
- Air Pre-charge: Ensuring the pressure vessel has a pre-charged air space to initiate operation.
